In this guide, we will display the steps required to add Pizza Menus to your system.
For a full step-by-step video guide on Interactive Menu Management, please refer to our Complete Video Guide.
Firstly, access your Admin Panel at https://eposhybrid.uk/ or via the ePOS Hybrid Operator App.
Prior to creating your Pizza Menu, you should create the available sizes of your Pizzas in the Global Sizes section of the Admin Panel to ensure these are available before setting up your Pizza Menu. To set up Global Sizes, select Restaurant Setup followed by Settings, then scroll down to Global Sizes and click Open.

To add a Global Size, type the name of the size - such as 12 inch, 14 inch, etc. in the Global Size Name textbox then click + Add to add the Global Size and repeat the process until all necessary sizes have been added. If you wish to change an existing Global Size, click the Edit button in the Action column to have the size name reappear in the textbox. Make the necessary edit then click the Edit button next to the textbox to update the size.
After updating your Global Sizes, let’s now create your Pizza Menu. To access the Pizza Menu screen, select Menu Management, followed by Pizza Menu.
The Pizza Menu screen will be displayed, allowing you to view all existing Pizza Menus and add further Pizza Menus if required.

To add a new Pizza Menu, click the green + Add Pizza Menu button on the top-right corner of the screen. The next screen will allow you to enter all details relevant to your new Pizza Menu.

Firstly, enter the name of the Pizza in the Item Name field, followed by selecting the relevant Menu Type in the dropdown box. If you wish to add a new Menu Type, refer to the ePOS Hybrid Academy Guide on Menu Management - Menu Setup.
Next, select the relevant Menu Category in the corresponding dropdown box. If you wish to add a new Menu Category, refer to the ePOS Hybrid Academy Guide on Menu Management - Categories.
After selecting the Item Name, Menu Type and Menu Category, you have the option to enter a Description in the corresponding textbox. This is optional, but gives you the opportunity to write a description for the item that will be visible on the ePOS Hybrid Operator App and will also be visible to customers when ordering via your Website or Mobile App.
You can select the Kitchen Name that the item will be sent to using the relevant dropdown, however this can be selected in further detail using Kitchen Settings on the ePOS Hybrid Operator App.
Next, use the next two boxes to confirm how many Toppings are both Included and Allowed with the item - this excludes Pizza Crust, Sauces and Cheeses.
The Item Availability Setting options allow you to set the availability of your item to All Days - the default option - or select Specific Days. Selecting Specific Days will open the From/To Date fields and also allow you to specify days and times of the week that the item will be available using the Day checkboxes and the From/To Time dropdown boxes.
The following section allows you to set the Allergen Information for the item using the corresponding checkboxes for each Allergen. The Please Ask Staff Member or None options are also available if required.

After updating the Allergen Information, the following fields allow you to update the Pricing of your Pizza Menu.
In the Pricing Options field, use the Select Size dropdown to select the size of each item from the previously created Global Sizes, then enter the appropriate pricing in the relevant fields. If the pizza can be selected as a Half & Half, check the textbox.

If more options are required i.e. multiple sizes, click the Add More button to add further Pricing Options.
After updating your Pricing Options, you have the option to upload an image for the Pizza using the Pizza Image section - once the image is uploaded, a preview will be visible - the image can be visible on the ePOS Hybrid Operator App and for customers ordering via your Website or Mobile App if you have these settings on.

Next, update your Pizza Tax Settings using the Tax Settings fields. Using this section, you can specify the VAT applicable for the item for each Service Type if the VAT applicable varies from the general setting. If VAT is not applicable for this item, select the Zero Tax option on the top-right corner of the section.

Finally, select the green + Add More Applicable Options button. The below pop-up will appear, allowing you to add pizza-specific Modifiers to the item.

Once the option is selected, the Applicable section will appear, allowing you to specify how many of each option can be selected. Use the Select Modifier dropdown and the Add button to add modifiers from the category, and repeat the process using the + Add More Applicable Options button until all customisable options have been selected.
Once complete, click the green Submit button to add your Pizza Menu.
Once Submit is selected, you will return to the Pizza Menu homepage.
If you wish to Edit your Menu Item once added, click the green Edit icon in the Actions column to make the appropriate changes - click Submit in the pop-up once the relevant changes have been made.
If you wish to Delete a Menu Item you have created, click the red Delete icon in the Actions column to remove this from your system.
If you wish to Deactivate a Menu Item without removing it from the system completely, click the green Active icon in the Status column. This will change the Status to a red Inactive icon, ensuring the Menu Item will not be listed. If you wish to Reactivate a Menu Item, click the Inactive icon and this will revert back to Active status.
If you have a Menu Item as part of a Query Meal and wish to customise the question the customer is asked when the item is selected, click the ? icon to open the below pop-up.

If you wish to add a consent message for online orders - for example if you have alcoholic items available and need the customer to confirm they are over 18 or if any other important messages need to be conveyed to customers prior to ordering - click the Consent icon to open the below popup.

If you wish a Consent Message to be displayed, select Yes in the Do you want to have consent to this item? field, then enter the message you wish to be displayed in the Enter Consent Message field and click Save to add your Consent Message.
If you wish to apply different item pricing to different Service Types, select the £ icon to open the Servicewise Prices pop-up screen. In this screen you can specify the price applicable to each service type, and the system will automatically charge the correct price depending on the customer’s chosen service type, for example if Collection and Delivery options have two separate price points for the same item.

Once the pop-up appears after clicking the £ icon, click Yes in the Would you like to set servicewise prices to this item field. This will open up all available service types (listed at the original price by default), allowing you to specify the different prices for each Service Type if applicable. Once the relevant prices have been selected, click Apply to update the pricing.
