In this guide, we will display the steps required to add Miscellaneous Items to your system.
Miscellaneous Items are items that may not necessarily be listed as part of a Menu but are still helpful to have available, such as bags, disposable cutlery, etc. Miscellaneous Items can be added via the Admin Panel or via the ePOS Hybrid Operator App.

Firstly, let’s review the process steps for adding/reviewing Miscellaneous Items via the Admin Panel.
Firstly, access your Admin Panel at https://eposhybrid.uk/ or via the ePOS Hybrid Operator App. Once logged in, select Menu Management, followed by Miscellaneous Items.

The Miscellaneous Items screen will open, displaying your existing Miscellaneous Items (with the price of each) and providing the option to Edit, Delete and Add Miscellaneous Items.
To add a new Miscellaneous Item, click the green + Add New button.

Once clicked, the New Miscellaneous Item pop-up will open, allowing you to enter the Miscellaneous Item Name in the relevant textbox and specify the Price of the item in the following box.
Next, specify the applicable VAT (if required) for your Miscellaneous Item, customisable by Service Type by entering the correct percentage in the appropriate field if changes are needed. Taxable is the default option, however if no VAT is applicable to the Modifier, select the Zero Tax option.
Once the above fields have been completed, click the green Submit button to add your new Miscellaneous Item.
After clicking Submit, you will return to the Miscellaneous Items screen.
If you wish to Edit your Miscellaneous Item once added, click the green Edit icon in the Actions column to make the appropriate changes - click Submit once the relevant changes have been made.
If you wish to Delete a Miscellaneous Item you have created, click the red Delete icon in the Actions column to remove this from your system.
Next, let’s review the process for adding Miscellaneous Items via the ePOS Hybrid Operator App and for processing these items in an order.
Once logged in on the ePOS Hybrid Operator App, start an order using the relevant Service Type.

Once the Service Type has been selected, tap Extras, scroll down to Manager Actions and tap the Misc. Items icon.

The Misc. Item pop-up will appear, providing two options.

Firstly, you can enter the name of an existing Miscellaneous Item in the Item Name field - which will provide a dropdown of existing items matching the search entry to tap and then select Add to add this Miscellaneous Item to your order.

Alternatively, you can add a new Miscellaneous Item using the green Add New button.
If Add New is selected, a further pop-up will appear with the same layout as the pop-up on your Admin Panel, allowing you to enter the Name, Price and Tax Settings of the item.

Once the relevant details have been entered, tap Submit at the bottom of the pop-up to add your new Miscellaneous Item to your order. If you wish to cancel adding the item, tap Skip instead of Submit to take you to the previous pop-up.

Once your new Miscellaneous Item has been added, this will now be added to your list of existing Miscellaneous Items on your Admin Panel for future use/customisation - if you have the Admin Panel open already you will need to refresh the page for this to be visible.
