Contactless Table Ordering

In this guide, we will detail the steps to setting up and managing Contactless Table Ordering using the ePOS Hybrid Admin Panel.

Firstly, log onto your ePOS Hybrid Admin Panel at https://www.eposhybrid.uk/ or via the ePOS Hybrid Operator App.

Once logged into your Admin Panel, select Web&Mob Management followed by Contactless Table Order.

The Contactless Table Order screen will appear, allowing you to customise your settings.

Firstly, use the Applicable Services checkboxes to confirm whether you wish to allow Contactless Ordering for Eat In or Take Away services.

Next, use the relevant checkboxes and dropdown options to specify the applicable Contactless Ordering Hours. If you have split service hours - e.g. lunch hours and dinner hours - select the green + Ordering Hours button to open an additional row of dropdown options, this can be completed as many times as required.

The next option - Eat In Guest Count Pop-Up - allows the customer to specify how many guests are sitting at the selected table if Eat-In service is selected. Turn this option off for this pop-up to not appear.

Next, the Pay at Counter and Card Payment options allow you to specify whether you wish to allow customers to both pay at the counter or via card, or if you only wish to provide one option.

After these options, you can select your preferred Colour Scheme using the relevant button. After your chosen colour has been selected, click Save to update your settings.

To display your QR code for customers, click Generate QR Code if a code is not already available. To use our most up-to-date online ordering system, please ensure you download the code with (www.food-order.net) above the code. This code can be downloaded and then printed as required.

After completing your Contactless Table Order Settings, it’s time to ensure orders placed are visible on your ePOS Hybrid Operator App.

To do so, open the ePOS Hybrid Operator App, select Extras and scroll down to Settings.

The General Settings page will open, allowing you to scroll down to Contactless Table Orders. Select Yes, then tap the Back button for the app to refresh and have the Table Orders icon listed on your screen, allowing you to view all Contactless Table Orders.

When a customer places an order, they will receive an email notification to confirm, and you will also receive a notification on your Operator App:

The Contactless Table Orders screen allows you to view all orders, whether Pending, In Kitchen, Completed or Cancelled. Select the Layout button to alternate between one or two orders per row.
