CMS Setup

This guide demonstrates the steps to updating Email, SMS and Mobile App Push Notifications via the ePOS Hybrid Admin Panel for orders placed on your Website and Mobile Apps.

To begin, log in to your Admin Panel at https://eposhybrid.uk/ and select CMS.

The CMS screen will open, with the Email Management, SMS Management and Notification Management options available to select.

To enable SMS notifications to be sent to customers, MessageBird integration must be completed - follow the steps in the MessageBird Setup guide on ePOS Academy to complete the integration.

To enable Push Notifications via your Mobile Apps, Push Notifications must be enabled. Follow the steps in the Firebase Setup for Mobile App Push Notifications guide on ePOS Academy to complete this setup and enable Push Notifications to be sent to customers using your Mobile Apps.

Each section will have the same five notification types:

Order Placed, Order Confirmation, Order Cancelled, Order Processed and Order Complete.

For online table bookings, Booking Cancelled and Booking Confirmation are also available within Email Management

To customise the content within the Email, SMS or Push Notification, click the Edit icon in the Action column to open the Edit Panel pop-up.

The Keywords are listed on the right-hand side of the pop-up and these must be listed without amendments to the text to ensure that the relevant details - for example the customer’s name and your business name - are included in the email correctly.

Once the content has been written, press the Save button to update the email, SMS or push notification and this will take effect immediately if the notification is active. Click the Eye icon in the Action column to preview the content written. Ensure that any Keywords used are in uppercase only.

To update the Status of the notification, click the button in the Status column to change the status from Active to Inactive and vice versa if required, for example if you wish to reduce the number of notifications sent to a customer.
